They run permanently-open enrollment on their own sign-up pages, you take a qualification test, and either you're in or you're not.

Every one of these platforms puts a graded evaluation in front of you before you can touch paid work. They don't tell you what they're grading. They don't tell you why you failed. On most of them you get one attempt, and a fail can lock the email address for months. People apply cold, fail, and conclude the whole thing was a scam.
It isn't a scam — it's a rubric. The graders are working from a scoring guide, and once you've seen what that guide rewards, the tests stop being mysterious. That's most of what this playbook is.

For the general track, no — the entry requirement is fluent written English and the patience to follow instructions precisely. A degree or professional background matters only for the expert track, which pays more and is covered in Module 5.

What I can tell you is what the platforms themselves advertise: roughly $15–25/hr for general work and $40+/hr on some expert tracks. Whether you reach either of those is genuinely not in my control.
